cursed upon birth left in the woods to die
bloodshot eyes, gruesome teeth and twisted spine
the wolves wouldn’t raise such a beast

And the children all around knew their bones would be his feast


locked in and loaded with their pitchforks and their torches
I led a hateful hoard into the night

with children fast asleep
probably having scary dreams
their parents headed off to fight


the hounds did howl as the sniffed out his tracks
and we traced him back to a decrepit little shack

and our anger spewed out as we shout

give yourself up you god forsaken animal

theres no use in hiding now
far too long you’ve terrorized this town
bring the shackles and they’ll hold
the one we know as crooked hole

I’m the monster they made me out to be

but its true that theirs evil beyond those trees


I’ve seen shadows drag their men to hell
winged creatures casting wicked spells

I guard the demons gate, and you know i guard it well
